Pearl River Soccer Club runs entirely on parent and community volunteers. Here's everything you need to know to get started as a coach or a referee.
All coaches are required to complete a background check and SafeSport training prior to the first practice of the season. Most coaches are parents of a registered player — no prior coaching experience is required, just a willingness to show up and make it fun.
Coaching commitment mirrors your child's age group: U5–U8 is one practice and one game per week, U9–U16 is two practices and a game.

No. Most PRSC coaches are volunteer parents with no formal coaching background. Training and SafeSport certification are provided before your first practice.
You must be at least 11 years old at registration for the entry-level course. The club covers the cost of your first referee kit. Visit the Mississippi Soccer Association website for more information.
